This study analyzes violations of neighboring rights (broadcasting rights) in illegal film screenings through live streaming based on Law No. 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright. The problem addressed concerns the legal construction of broadcasting rights as neighboring rights and the forms and consequences of their violations on digital platforms. This research applies normative legal research using statute and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that illegal live streaming constitutes infringement of economic rights of broadcasting institutions and related rights holders. This study contributes by clarifying the conceptual distinction between copyright and neighboring rights in digital broadcasting
